About Jay Glasscott

I am honored to join the OXO-Rad Technologies team as COO and Director of Product Development. Their unique oxygen radical manufacturing method could dramatically reduce thermal signatures of several industrial products with the added benefit of significantly reducing CO2 emissions. I founded MJDE Health, a social enterprise company, to develop strategies and policies to reduce barriers that hinder patients from receiving adequate healthcare services and technologies. I recently started to partner with Bay Park Data Solutions, a global leader in providing Geographical Information System (GIS) solutions to non-profit organizations. Together, we are developing analytical tools to better identify and reach underserved people groups. In 20••••18, I had the incredible opportunity to partner with Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) to develop a method to desalinate brackish groundwater using latent heat sources. Together we worked with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in Palo Alto to evaluate a new desalination method that could reduce the freshwater footprint of a thermal-electric power plant using the plant\'s latent heat. In 2020, SNL and I were granted US Patent 10,584,926 on a modified version of the method. From 19••••14, I had the pleasure to work in the pharmaceutical industry supporting research & development, international commercial operations, US patient access and global business development. I earned my undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Denver as an University Scholar, and also completed a General Course degree at the London School of Economics. I later earned a Masters of International Business Studies from the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina with a focus on international economic development and Lusophone countries.
