ABOUT JAY FENNEL
Mr. Fennel has a diverse background of over thirty years in gaming, technology, hospitality, development and operations. Currently he is the Senior Vice President of Gaming Development and Technology for Golden Entertainment Inc. in Las Vegas. Golden Entertainment is one of the largest slot route operators in the country and also owns and operates 60 + of its own taverns and nine commercial casinos. Mr Fennel also spent nearly nine years with Station Casinos, Inc, where he was ultimately responsible for the gaming operations of 16 properties with over slot machines, 300 table games and managing a staff of over 500 people. He was instrumental in the standardization of operations, product procurement, patron optimization, including performance analysis and labor productivity while the company opened and or acquired a total of 12 new properties during his tenure. In addition, Mr. Fennel played a key role in the hands-on design, development and opening of the Thunder Valley Casino (Tribal Gaming), Green Valley Ranch Resort, Red Rock Resort & Casino and Aliante Station Casino, as well as many other acquisitions, expansions and remodels. Prior to Station Casinos, Mr. Fennel was with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas where he was the Director of Casino Operations. Prior to Golden Entertainment Mr. Fennel served as Chief Operations Officer for Gaming Ventures of Las Vegas Inc. which owned and operated a local’s casino Club Fortune Casino in Henderson Nevada. In addition to his responsibilities at Club Fortune, Mr. Fennel also served as partner and Managing Director/COO of Silver State Capital Advisors a firm dedicated to hospitality, gaming mergers, acquisitions and management consulting. Some of the clients and or projects that Mr. Fennel has been directly involved with include Peninsula Gaming, Indiana Live Casino, Gomes Gaming, Caesars Entertainment, and Gila River Gaming.
