ABOUT JAY FEINBERG
For 35 years, I’ve had the extraordinary privilege to lead Gift of Life —a mission-driven organization committed to helping children and adults fighting blood cancer find the stem cell donors they need to survive. This passion comes from my own experience as a survivor of a stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor, and it has defined my purpose in life.My vision is a world where every patient has equal and timely access to cellular therapy, and where every donor is treated with the highest level of dignity, care, and respect.Leadership, to me, means lifting others—especially those in greatest need—and building systems that serve with excellence and heart. I’m grateful to have 150 remarkable individuals on my team who share this vision. Together, we operate a world-class organization that includes a WMDA-accredited registry and donor center, an AABB-accredited stem cell collection facility, a cutting-edge cell therapy lab, a research lab, and a CLIA-certified testing lab. But more than the infrastructure, it’s the lives saved—and the lives transformed—that define our success.Beyond Gift of Life, I’m honored to serve as President of the World Marrow Donor Association, where I work alongside global leaders to strengthen and expand access to transplant worldwide and ensure the wellbeing of donors is protected.
