About Jayesh Jariwala

Controls Systems Engineer with 25+ years of experience designing and integrating industrial automation systems. My work spans PLC and HMI development, plant historians, database architectures, custom applications, and integration with MES and ERP platforms. As a Senior Project Engineer, I provide technical leadership on automation projects and help organizations design secure, scalable industrial control systems. My recent work focuses on industrial networking and cybersecurity within operational technology environments. Licensed Professional Engineer (Control Systems) and ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist with experience in platforms including Siemens PLCs, Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, OSIsoft PI, Dream Report, and Cisco networking technologies. I am also a passionate mentor and leader in the Baltimore-area robotics community, dedicated to empowering the next generation of STEM leaders. Experienced in guiding students in programming, control systems, and competitive robotics through roles with FIRST Robotics Competition teams, the Maryland Robotics Alliance, and the Baltimore Bolts, where I also serve as Board President. Additional systems and software platforms I have knowledge of include: HMI packages (Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell FT View SE/ME, Siemens), PLC (Siemens Step 7/TIA Portal), reporting applications (Wonderware Info Server, ODS Dream Report), and network tools (Cisco, Wireshark). In this office, I have continued to assist with sales and manage customer relationships. Control systems design now includes helping customers with network topology and implementing cyber security elements.
