ABOUT J. ALVAREZ
Real Estate has been the foundation of my experience even prior to Law Enforcement and to focus on the business of real estate investing brings absolute empowerment as an entrepreneur. Owning and managing properties in the East Valley for over 10 years, I gained knowledge from formulating deals while purchasing investment properties, planning and operating renovation projects to achieving short-term/long-term rentals while having cash-flow-Real Estate Investment -Property Management Short-term Long-term rentals - Renovations and Remodel projects -Staging Properties including Furniture and Design-Marketing and Advertising Properties Available As a Tempe Police Officer since 2015, I have gained vast experience in numerous investigations. These investigations included: Narcotics, Weapons Offenses, Money Laundering, Aggravated Assault/Robbery, Domestic Violence, Property/Auto Theft, Juvenile, Document Crimes, Fraud, Sex Crimes, Child Crimes, Human Sex Trafficking and Human Smuggling, and Homicide. In 2018, I was transferred to the Night Violent Crimes/Domestic Violence Unit within the Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) as a Detective. In 2019, I was then transferred to the Special Victims Unit within CIB. Returning to Field Operations 2021 for the training of newer Officers. By attending trainings and authoring Search Warrants (Pings, Residential, Cell Phone, Social Media, DNA, banks etc), I have advanced my proficiencies in interviewing, interrogation, and navigating through complex cases. Attending trainings involving Human Trafficking since 2018, I have explored APAAC, Police Technical, and AZHIDTA education.Having access to majority of investigative programs (Accurint, LE Web, CopLink, Leads Online Social Media etc), I can find anyone. Being bilingual in Spanish, has also assisted my ability to build relationships in the community in addition to other agencies in networking. Being highly motivated, possessing a strong work ethic, being team oriented and having determination to excel at each assigned task; I have all the qualities required.
