About Jaydon Deglin

I grew up right outside of Philadelphia which led me to become a passionate Philly sports fan across all four major sports. My love for the local teams dominated my life from an early age. I was always the kid that wore a Flyers jersey to school or spent their free time looking up obscure Phillies players from over a century ago. I spent most of my childhood summers taking the Septa down to Citizens Bank Park with my brother. We would often scavenge to buy the cheapest possible seats. As I got older, and the team got better, my love for the local teams grew exponentially. Witnessing multiple playoff runs in recent years has shown me how powerful sports can impact the community. Seeing people come together for a common a goal is one of the many beauties of professional sports. While attending the University of Delaware, I made it my goal to obtain a sports internship. I stumbled upon a great opportunity to work for the Philadelphia Union as an Event Operations Intern. I discovered my passion for relationship building and customer service early in the role. I spent many of my weekends that summer talking to hundreds of people a day about the great sport of soccer. I am thankful for the invaluable lessons and skills that I gained throughout this experience. Today, I currently reside in Metro Detroit working as a proud member of Ilitch Sports+ Entertainment. As an Account Executive of Membership Development for the Detroit Tigers, I pride myself on creating lifelong memories for fans that they can look back on and smile.
