About Jayden Monson
I thrive at the edge where business complexity turns into innovative solutions. I work on helping businesses solve their problems in sustainable ways that positively impact society. As a productive explorer I can help businesses analyze their problems through understanding crucial data, mapping out important systems in their company, and researching practices and opportunities in the market. I can then help innovate creative sustainable solutions and then test those solutions with key stakeholders to understand success. My expertise lie in the field of design thinking, social entrepreneurship, and experiential marketing techniques. I understand key business tech applications such as Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, spreadsheets, whiteboarding tools, and project management platforms, allowing for a seamless transition into any work environment and an immediate boost in productivity. I have experience in developing marketing campaigns aligned with companies branding and identity. I have experience in team management and conflict resolution. I have been using these skills in a variety of previous and current projects including the following: grounds department hiring campaign, retail social support program strategy, pioneering intervention for homelessness solutions in Utah, and training social impact interns. In the future my goal is to continue testing solutions for homelessness solutions at the Ballard Center for Social Impact. After spending some time with that project I look to develop my experience and skillset by applying my knowledge in different sectors of business. I have always consider myself a learner. As a child I had a new hobby every 2 to 3 months. When I would discover a new hobby, such as my yo-yo phase, I was all in from the start. I watched every video that I could find, teaching me the basics. I bought several different types of yo-yos to try and started building a collection. I spent hours learning the coolest tricks I could find. I would bring home every book I could get my hands on from my local library to help me practice and improve at my yo-yo skills. Although I still have much to learn about business, I still have that inner fire to learn with all my heart. I have been blessed to learn experience design and social innovation at the feet of some of the greatest minds in those fields in the Experience Design and Management program at BYU and the Ballard Center for Social Impact. I look forward to diving in and learning everything that I can with you at your company.
