Hired to support the strategizing and coordination of year-round high-impact, community-centered events across Ontario. Notably, the August 2025 \"Annual General Assembly\" brought together 700+ Métis citizens to practice self-government in action. Responsibilities include:+ Event Coordination: Provide support in all areas pertaining to logistical coordination of in-person events, including vendor coordination, transportation, on-site set up and oversight, and risk mitigation+ Communications: Develop attendee-facing event-related communications, relaying important logistical and program-related information accessibly and succinctly + Management: Oversee relationships with vendors and labour support services onsite, provide leadership and training to employees assisting with labour tasks during events
