ABOUT JAY CHAMPION
As the President and CEO at Workers Credit Union, I am responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, financial performance, and operational excellence of one of the largest credit unions in Massachusetts.With over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, I have developed core competencies in developing excellent culture, business process management, real estate lending, commercial lending, insurance, bank operations, bank management, problem loan resolution, team leadership, and financial institution regulation. I am also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. Over the course of my career, I have developed my skills in the application of the Malcolm Baldridge framework for performance excellence. My mission is to serve the financial needs of our members and communities, while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration among our staff and stakeholders.
