Assist in thedevelopment of security policy, plans and procedures to meet governmentregulations and industry standards-Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs)-Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements-Experience and proficiency with any of the following: Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, Full Packet Capture, Host-Based Forensics, Network Forensics-Experience with malware analysis concepts and methods-Familiarity and experience in Intelligence Driven Defense-Review DoD and open source intelligence for threats-Identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and integrate those into sensors and SIEMs-Triage and review system alerts to identify malicious actors on customer networks-Assist T1 analysts with triage and analysis-Complete moderate-level analysis of potential cybersecurity events that could threaten IT Systems-Report incidents to customers and USCYBERCOM-Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills-Create complex technical reports on analytic findings

I have 10 years of experience serving in the military that I am extremely proud of. The lessons the military has taught me are priceless and have helped me time and time again in my life. The military taught me to climb mountains, save lives and carry out impossible missions. With my military experience and training I now know I can do anything. After completing a 6 year long commitment to the Active Army I made the decision to return to the civilian world to pursue a career in corporate America. In order to facilitate this process I enrolled as an MBA Candidate at Utah Valley University where I recently graduated in 2016 with a 3.53 GPA. Currently, I am serving part time in the California National Guard as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Liasion at the 40th Infantry Division. My tasks include coordination of EOD support for the California Government throughout the State of California and force protection over all California National Guard physical locations.My full time employment is in the tech industry serving as a Federal Business Development Representative with ProofPoint. In this role I seek out and actively manage business opportunities in both the civilian and DoD sides of the Federal Government.
