As a Director in BDO’s Boston office I advise firms within the financial services sector (asset & wealth management and broker-dealers) on current accounting issues, developments and the application of accounting standards.Prior to joining BDO I spent several years working in industry in financial reporting at two large alternative investment managers (hedge fund and a real estate manager). I have significant prior experience in public accounting focused on alternative investment fund audits working at big 4 firms including a two year secondment in the Cayman Islands.I received my undergraduate degree in accounting from the university of Florida and masters in professional accounting from the university of Texas at Austin. I am a CFA Charter holder and a CPA in the state of Massachusetts.
