About Jaya Meena
Hi, I’m Jaya, software engineer with over 2 years of experience building scalable and fault-tolerant systems. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in AI/ML at the University at Buffalo. During my internship at HubSpot, I worked with technologies like Kafka, Spark, SQL, and AWS to help migrate subscriptions, improve payment processing, and build Spark on-demand jobs for database updates. Before that, at Amazon, I built and maintained microservices using Java and Python, focusing on creating scalable and resilient architectures that support mission-critical workloads. I’m naturally curious and a fast learner, which helps me quickly adapt to new technologies and thrive in fast-paced environments. I enjoy tackling complex problems and finding innovative solutions that make an impact. Outside of coding, I’m passionate about painting, reading, and traveling — all of which help me stay creative and inspired.
