About Jayati Deshmukh
I\'m an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani – Hyderabad Campus, in the Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) department.Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, working with Prof. Sarvapali (Gopal) Ramchurn on the Responsible AI UK project and with Prof. Sebastian Stein on the Citizen-Centric Artificial Intelligence Systems project. I continue being a Visiting Researcher at Southampton.I\'ve done a PhD advised by Prof. Srinath Srinivasa at where we proposed a model called \"Computational Transcendence\" to build responsible autonomous agents.My research interests include multi-agent systems, responsible AI, network science and game theory.
