As a Data Engineer, I’m currently leading the design and delivery of a scalable data insight pipeline for a top Asset Management Companies within a broader Data Lake initiative. Our project ingests diverse datafrom SSMS databases, APIs, and Excel files into AWS S3 using DMS in batch mode, supporting both incremental (SCD) and full loads.Once in the raw (row) layer, data is enriched with audit fields (insert/update timestamps), then transformed,casting, deriving new metrics, cleaning,before landing in the silver (SM) layer. Finally, the data moves to the data mart (DM) layer for BI tool consumption.Our stack leverages AWS Athena, AWS Lambda,AWS Step Functions,AWS S3 for orchestration and monitoring, along with Spark/Scala and Python for processing. This layered, serverless architecture mirrors AWS best practices for modern analytics pipelines
