About Jayanth Kolli
I\'m currently working with Apple Inc. in Battery Performance Testing Team. Mainly focuses on executing high volume battery testing, implementing performance monitoring measurements like EIS (Impedance), blue line scanning and various metrology thickness measuring techniques. I am also responsible for characterization of batteries by evaluating their defects (physical deformation like swell, bumps, bowing), cycle life, rate and storage capabilities, capacity monitoring, and impedance.I completed MS from Northern Illinois State University in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Electrochemical systems (such as Fuel Cells, Flow Batteries). I worked as a graduate research assistant for almost two years in Electrochemical and Thermal Energy Laboratory (https://ktaek124.wixsite.com/ectel) where I helped setup the laboratory and also worked on my paper publication \"Membrane-less Hydrogen Iron Redox Flow Battery\".
