About Jayant Swamy

I am a technology optimist and enterprise transformation leader. As Chief Enterprise Architect, my role is twofold: first, to define and lead Genpact’s architecture strategy and asset base; and second, to translate that intellectual property into products and services that help clients modernize their architectures and transform their organizations.While most organizations are focused on adopting AI-powered technologies and applications across the enterprise, it’s clear that more needs to be done to encourage adoption and assimilation. To achieve that goal, I work closely with CIOs and the nexus of the c-suite to collaborate on a holistic strategy encompassing AI/ML, data, cloud, applications, security and compliance. It’s only by collaborating and valuing data as a business asset, not a technology one, can successful digitization begin.At the start of my career I was at a crossroads, considering architecture (the building type!) and computer science. Computer science won the battle, but perhaps they have more in common than is obvious. Both require big picture thinking, structure, planning and attention to detail. Skills I have honed over the years. Before joining Genpact, my career spanned large technology and consulting firms such as Oracle and Accenture, as well as a more recent venture into the startup world. Across all my roles, one theme has remained constant: embracing change and taking calculated risks to drive transformation. Not everything works as expected, but every challenge presents a learning opportunity.Outside of work, I enjoy long walks and photography - perfect complements to my lifelong fascination with technology and its power to drive meaningful change.
