About Jayant K. Singh
I specialize in material modeling, thermodynamics of complex fluids, machine learning, and the discovery of new materials including specialty chemicals (surfactant) and drugs. My team focuses on developing porous adsorbents and understanding the stability of formulation (FMCG), tools, and algorithms, and we also work on product development at the laboratory scale. We are experts in molecular simulation and are especially interested in creating advanced molecular simulation tools. Our in-house tool, MIST, is used for sorption and phase equilibria calculations. Additionally, my team at IIT Kanpur has created products that are now in market including Bhu-Parikshak for soil sensing and Munh-Parikshak, early stage oral cancer detection tool. In 2019, I founded Prescience Insilico with Dr. Sudip Roy, a company dedicated to accelerating the discovery of drugs, materials, and chemicals. Prescience Insilico leverages its propriety platform, based on AI & physics based methods, to offer comprehensive services to FMCG and pharmaceutical companies, aiding them in their research and development endeavors.
