OVERVIEW: ⏩ Manage the portfolio strategy and health for supported insurance applications, including enterprise data warehouse, reinsurance and statistical reporting, document management, and workflow management. Build and lead the team in the on-target project execution. Direct application development team leaders and formulate and deploy long-term strategic plans. INTERNAL COLLABORATIONS ⏩ Work with development managers on establishing standards, patterns, and frameworks for future projects. Interact with application development managers to ensure team’s adherence to product and technical specifications. Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team on defining the strategy and vision to support security goals. Work jointly with the Infrastructure team on maturing DevOps cycles. PROJECT & PROCESS MANAGEMENT ⏩ Create and mature capabilities in Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices. Provide guidance and leadership on planning and prioritization of resource conflicts, customer demands, and support issues. Oversee the full cycle of technical processes, from design and development through testing and deployment. FINANCE, HR & ADMINISTRATION ⏩ Develop and manage IT budgets for application cost centers. Create business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses. Oversee all aspects of IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, and evaluations. Provide effective vendor selection and exceptional support to existing applications.
