8 plus years of experience in Workday security, I’ve built my career around helping organizations create secure, compliant, and well-structured access frameworks that actually support the business instead of slowing it down. My work has largely been within accounting and financial services environments, where expectations around SOX compliance, audit readiness, and risk control are high—and there’s very little room for error.I specialize in designing and managing end-to-end Workday security architecture across HCM, with hands-on experience in role-based and domain security, business process security policies, and user-based security groups. Over the years, I’ve worked extensively across modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Time Tracking, ensuring that access is not only appropriate but also scalable as organizations grow and evolve.A significant part of my experience has been tied to SOX and audit support. I’ve been closely involved in access reviews, audit evidence preparation, and remediation efforts, often working side by side with Internal Audit and Compliance teams. I’m comfortable navigating both internal and external audits, and I understand what it takes to keep controls strong while still maintaining operational efficiency.What I enjoy most about this work is the problem-solving aspect. Whether it’s identifying a Segregation of Duties conflict, troubleshooting a complex access issue, or tightening report and integration security, I approach challenges with a practical mindset. I focus on understanding how the business operates first, then designing solutions that align with both security requirements and real-world usage.I’ve also spent a good amount of time working on Workday reporting and integration security, including EIBs, APIs, and Studio-based integrations, ensuring sensitive data is handled appropriately at every stage. Alongside that, I bring experience with identity and access management concepts such as SSO, MFA, and directory integrations like Azure Active Directory.At this stage in my career, I’m comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and taking full ownership of security-related initiatives. I take pride in delivering solutions that stand up to audit scrutiny while still being practical for the teams that use them every day.
