I have over 20 years of professional accounting experience between public and corporate accounting. I currently a Corporate Accounting Manager with PotlatchDeltic. As a member of the accounting leadership team my responsibilities include staff oversight and mentoring, working with internal and external auditors as it relates to our SOX reporting requirements, oversee equity compensation and pension accounting considerations, assist with preparation and review during monthly and quarterly close, etc. I lead the company’s considerations/documentation for technical accounting transactions (including merger and asset acquisitions, pension annuitization, etc.), oversee the preparation of our external financial statements (e.g. the 10-K, 10-Q, 11-K\'s and pension plan financial statements for DOL reporting) and collaborate with accounting, legal, business line V.P.s and C-Suite for quarterly earnings release, investor presentations, internal presentations, etc. Previously I worked with BDO USA as an Assurance Director for 16+ years. My industry experience includes hospitality, natural resources, manufacturing (both with local operations and international operations), mining, lumber, retail, medical service practices, software/tech and employee benefit plans. I have extensive background in GAAP research, financial statement preparation, and Sarbanes Oxley auditing. My experience also includes auditing SEC registered companies including Form 10Q and 10K filings, IPOs, Sarbanes Oxley 404, US GAAP accounting for companies in Chapter 11 bankruptcy etc. I worked in London with BDO LLP on the U.S. GAAP Technical Desk from September 2013 through September 2015. My role with BDO UK included final quality review of audit reporting packages to the US, coordinating review timing, research support for GAAP technical issues, keeping teams up to date on relevant US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB updates as well developing and delivering training material for these subject areas to audit teams. In addition, I was also involved in a variety of UK GAAP or IFRS to US GAAP conversion projects, supported teams on various technical US GAAP accounting and implementation issues and also managed a portfolio of audit clients in a variety of industries (retail, software, tech, professional services, etc.) that reported in either IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP and SEC filings.
