ABOUT JAY WOMMACK

As CEO of Vertical Alliance Group, I have the privilege of leading a team that has delivered more than 185 million training sessions through our Infinit-I Workforce Solutions and Train to Win platforms. I love what I do. Every day I get to work with talented people who are passionate about helping organizations become safer, more profitable, and more resilient. Together, we’re transforming the way training is viewed — from a box to check, into a powerful driver of culture and measurable business results.I’ve spent more than 25 years leading organizations with one simple but powerful idea: training should never be a cost center — it should be a profit driver.I believe the best training programs are: • Measurable — tied directly to improvements in operating ratio, insurance costs, retention, and overall profitability. • Defensible — with documentation that protects organizations in the face of audits, claims, or nuclear verdicts. • Transformative — building stronger cultures and safer environments for employees, students, and communities.Over the years, I’ve seen training change the course of organizations and lives: • A 1,400-truck fleet cutting fuel costs by 13% annually. • A district avoiding costly penalties after a compliance audit. • A school bus driver evacuating children from a burning bus — every child survived, thanks to training.My approach is rooted in strategic thinking and discipline. Whether it’s reading markets, building business models, or developing systems, I’ve always believed success comes from a clear vision and consistent execution.Outside of business, I’m a lifelong learner and rancher. I started trading stocks at 12, studied economics and accounting at Hendrix College, and I still enjoy analyzing trends and markets. When I’m not building businesses, you’ll usually find me with my wife Mary on our ranch, riding horses, and spending time with our children and grandchildren.At the end of the day, my mission is simple: help organizations win — with training that protects people, strengthens culture, and drives measurable results.
