I am a Broadcast Video Production and College Success (One Goal) instructor. As a Broadcast Video Production teacher I introduce our Level I freshman and sophomore students the fundamentals of video production and broadcasting. I teach foundational skills like camera basics, lighting and sound, editing software, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and the three stages of production which are pre, production, and post-production.As a College Success (One Goal) instructor I teach Juniors and help them identify career interests, apply to colleges, secure financial aid, and transition into postsecondary pathways. I also deliver weekly lessons using Canvas LMS, integrating academic, social-emotional, and leadership development content. I mentor a cohort of students, providing individualized support, goal setting, and college application guidance. Finally, I Track student progress and collaborate with counselors, families, and the One Goal Program Director to ensure student success.
