Hinkley Point C Construction Project - Hinkley Point C (HPC) is a project to build two nuclear reactors in Hinkley Point, Somerset, UK, by EDF Energy. The reactors are the first to be built in the UK in 20 years and will be part of a new generation of nuclear power stations. Once operational, HPC will generate 3.2 gigawatts (GW) of low-carbon electricity for 60 years, enough to power six million homes and provide 7% of the UK\'s electricity needs- Create and review Health Risk Assessments for BYLOR and tier 2 contractors- Review risk assments and method statement for inclusion of a controls related to exposure of construction dust ( Silica, respirable dusts), weld fume, noise, hand arm vibration, VOCs- Carry out COSHH assesments in line with regulations and client requirements and suggest suitable exposure controls- Prepare a monitoring plan and carry out exposure assessment to review effectiveness of controls for construction dust, weld fume, noise, hand arm vibration, VOCs and chemicals- Provide support for health seuvillance for all trades- Prepare a strategic documents for occupational hygiene and health to achieve a zero harm vision of BYLOR and HPC.
