ABOUT JAY PURKEY
In 34 years of experience in the field of architecture I have had the chance to work on a wide variety of project types. While the vast majority of my experience the over several years has been in the retail and mixed use sector, I recently have completed 18 projects consisting of hundreds of thousands feet of K-12 Edu projects mostly in Williamson County. I am now leading the Architectural Practice for Goodwyn Mills Cawood in Huntsville Alabama,After 4 years in this position, I am proud to call many local to Huntsville and North Alabama school districts and High Education Institutions as clients. Municipal work such as courthouses, city buildings, fire and police stations are also fields of expertise. This with over 20 yrs of experience in the private sector designing 100\"s of thousands of square feet of retail and hospitality projects makes us here in Huntsville capable of handling any project type. Specialties: The ability to see the big picture and convert into a real and successful outcome for my/our clients. I thrive in front of the client during presentations and while in design assuring the clients vision is implemented during construction.
