   Part of the In-Business Credit Risk function of the ICM Division responsible for managing Citi’s Wholesale Credit Risk. Portfolio coverage primarily includes Large Corporates from the Western European Diversified Utilities and the Energy Trading sector. Responsible for managing credit approval and renewals for a portfolio with a total credit exposure of more than $10BN- Key responsibilities include preparation of Credit Approval Memo’s for the Periodic reviews, New Originations and Renewals and to collaborate with the Relationship Managers, Underwriters and Senior Credit Officers within the Banking and Independent Risk Organization to drive the end-to-end management of the Credit Approval Process- As part of the Credit Analysis process my role involves among other things – (i) Financial Statement Analysis,(ii) Financial Modelling and Assigning Risk Ratings using Internal rating models,(iv) Assigning appropriate classification based on regulatory / internal guidelines,(v) proposing appropriate credit structure by analyzing subordination issues,(vi) proposing ways out,(vii) analyzing credit & facility agreements, guarantee documents & legal reviewing ISDA/CSA terms- Leading key projects in Western Europe Natural Resources from Credit side for Citi’s Marquee clients within the portfolio- Undertaking research and analysis of an entity through thorough assessment of its credit strengths and weakness and weighing its business and financial risk profile- Providing detailed recommendations to risk ratings along with a strong understanding of sovereign support for entities - Leading Portfolio and Industry and Portfolio Reviews on Power and Chemicals covering 25+ clients- Preparing Pre- Screening or Greenlight decks for new clients prior to pre-onboarding and sanction within Clean Energy Finance Projects in Western Europe.
