Eastside Utility District is a public water company near Chattanooga, TN serving consumers in Hamilton and Bradley Counties. Eastside also provides wholesale water to six other utility companies including two located in Catoosa and Whitfield Counties. Raw water is taken from the Tennessee River and delivered approximately 2 miles away to the water treatment plant where approximately 8-15 million gallons per day is treated and delivered to the customer\'s tap. Eastside is governed by a Board of Commissioners consisting of 3 members, two from Hamilton County and one from Bradley County, and they are appointed by the County Mayor in which the board members reside. They oversee the financials and implement policies for the District.
