About Jay Misener
I’m Jay, I’m a former NASA, U.S. House, U.S. Senate, and U.S. Naval Observatory Intern. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences, and Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, with minors in Spanish, Economics, and Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Public Policy degree at the University of Virginia as I begin my career in sustainability policy. As a Northern Virginia native, I’m a huge fan of Metro and our DMV area sports teams, and wrote my undergraduate Honors thesis on the sustainability implications of Metro\'s most recent expansion into my hometown. I look forward to using my unique interdisciplinary background to advance innovative and equitable solutions in the policy world.
