Responsible for the most complex and high priority work streams within the bank’s Remediation Program Office which organizationally reports to the Chief Administrative Officer of Comerica. Jay brings 40+ years of banking experience to ensure consistency for regulatory engagement execution, key regulatory submissions and responses, and regulatory remediation policy across all of the bank\'s regulators. Additional responsibilities include consulting with Bank Division Executive leaders/owners of open Regulatory Issues in their remediation plan development and conducting effective review and challenge throughout the remediation lifecycle. Jay also negotiates success criteria across all three lines of defense and multiple layers of senior leadership. Jay’s role includes communicating progress with the Bank’s Executive Leadership Team, the Bank’s Board of Directors and engaging with regulators, as needed.
