ABOUT JAY MCCONNELL
Jay McConnell joined CMG as a Manager, Advisor Services. Prior to CMG, Jay spent over 6.5 years with PwC Canada where he most recently was a Manager in the Private Wealth tax group. In that role he worked with some of Canada\'s high net worth families in their complex tax planning and compliance. Jay received his Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a specialization in accounting from Western University. He obtained his CPA, CA in 2020 and completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course in 2023. Jay is currently working towards his life insurance license.Throughout his time with PwC, Jay gained a strong belief that understanding his client\'s family, personal and business objectives is the key to building a successful long-term plan to preserve the family\'s legacy. Jay enjoys building trust and strengthening his relationships with his clients and other external advisors. He is looking forward to continue working with Canada\'s business families to help them solve their goals and to collaborate with other external advisors to help clients as a one-team approach to better assist clients.Additionally, Jay is on the Board of Directors for the Crescent School Foundation.
