ABOUT JAY LOWE

I have worked for E.ON Energy for 11 years and in that time ive worked hard to develop myself in several different roles. I have loved my time with E.ON and with each role I assume comes new challenges and new opportunities. I started my career as a customer Service Advisor where I developed a passion for delivering the right outcomes and finding the right solutions for customers. it became clear early on that I had a talent in talking to people / stakeholders and bringing them round to my way of thinking. This has carried me through the vast majority of challenges I have encountered. My stakeholder management skills represent my core belief that if you can get people on your side then any job becomes significantly easier. In my latter stages of my career at E.ON I have developed a flare for Regulatory / Policy Risk Control and Change Management. This has allowed me to travel around the country building a network of stakeholders within E.ON and our third-party partners to ensure that Ofgem\'s Service licence conditions are met. This protects both our business but more importantly our customers. More recently ive been fortunate enough to be part of a major customer migration program where I ran a team who are responsible for data migration. This has been a large and complex program of work and I\'m able to demonstrate some major accomplishments through this. What I’m passionate about … Vulnerable customers – in the Energy sector we have a major challenge ahead of us to ensure that customers are protected from rising costs aswell as fuel poverty. As we move to our target of net zero carbon, the energy market will rapidly change. WE MUST ensure that vulnerable customers are not “left behind”. Mental health – The people we work with represent our ability to deliver our objectives and if we don’t look after our own people both physically and mentally then we hinder our ability to deliver great things. Its great that the world is waking up to mental health however there is more we can and should do to protect each other.
