ABOUT JAY KHOSLA
Dedicated to maximizing Canada’s strategic international and national interests with a focus on creating economic growth, advancing energy and climate change interests, attracting investment and promoting trade, as well as fostering key infrastructure development by building strong collaborative partnerships, striving for excellence and vigorously delivering on outcomes. Through a number of senior executive positions focusing on both economic and social policy, I have overseen key environmental and energy strategies while advancing Canada’s international objectives. Most recently, I was the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, where I worked on strengthening federal-provincial relations while delivering on several priorities, including post-pandemic economic recovery, western and eastern infrastructure projects, climate change, environmental legislation/regulation, investment attraction, innovation and internal trade. Currently, I am the Executive Director, Economic and Energy Policy at the Public Policy Forum, where I will help strengthen the already successful Energy Future Forum, as well as enhance our global and domestic policy capacity. I will also bring strategic thought leadership to some familiar key files, working as part of PPF’s leadership team with members and partners on economic growth, Canada-U.S. relations, trade and investment, federal-provincial alignment and Atlantic strategy.
