As an aspiring physician, I have learned many valuable skills as an MA that will help me become a better medical professional in the future. I have developed my patient interaction skills, learned to use an electronic medical records system to chart data and vitals for a patient, learned how to triage a patient coming into the office and take the basic vital signs, and understand the general work flow of a physician\'s office and what type of role both a physician and a medical assistant play in this setting.
