I oversee all aspects of the tennis program as well as the pool and fitness directors. Brookside has 4 indoor hard and 4 outdoor clay courts. We have adult and junior travel teams, social and instructional programs for all ages and abilities. We have had many of our junior players start in our munchkin tennis program (ages 3-6) achieve USTA district and sectional rankings, qualify for the high school state finals, play college tennis.

Jay Hardman, a USPTA Master Professional has traveled across the country including Hawaii and as far as Hong Kong sharing his knowledge and passion for the game. His diverse background includes developing and running successful tennis programs for country clubs, resorts and commercial facilities ranging in size from 3 courts to 32.Described by his peers as an innovative teacher and clinician, Jay has given presentations at numerous USPTA World and Divisional Conferences, the USPTR International Symposium, university programs and various other workshops and special events. His instructional tips have appeared in several issues of Tennis Magazine. A recognized authority in game improvement methods and programs, Hardman has received the USPTA Professional of the Year honors in Michigan and Ohio as well as being named USPTA Midwest Professional of the Year.
