ABOUT JAY GOMEZ

I entered the workforce at 15, learning the value of responsibility, resilience, and resourcefulness early on. Growing up in a tight-knit household shaped by tradition and collaboration, I developed a mindset that blends creativity with practical thinking. Through team sports and skateboarding, I gained discipline, embraced risk-taking, and built adaptability. I approach problem-solving like a puzzle, staying curious, flexible, and focused on crafting thoughtful, effective solutions. I work at the intersection of communication, strategy, and community development, using purposeful storytelling to help organizations connect more authentically with their audiences. As an undergraduate, I proactively explored different industries by engaging with professional networks and learning from everyday conversations. That curiosity opened the door to an internship at a creative technology firm and later evolved into freelance work supporting a local small business with marketing and data insights. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with mission-driven teams and neighborhood businesses to tackle challenges, refine their messaging, and foster stronger relationships with their communities. I earned a B.A. in Communication and an MBA in Marketing from Saint Mary\'s College of California, where I deepened my skills in design thinking, team leadership, and sales strategy. I\'m passionate about turning ideas into action and aligning business goals with positive social impact. Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking the trails in Marin, and playing the occasional game of pickleball. I also find inspiration in poetry, contemporary art, and creative writing. As a member of Danville Toastmasters, the Alamo Rotary Club, and St. Isidore\'s Parish, I\'m proud to support scholarship and mentorship efforts that advance educational equity. I value empathy, discipline, curiosity, and building a life rooted in both purpose and progress. With gratitude,
