ABOUT JAXON THACKER

My work experience through school was largely in family businesses. That is where I learned the value of hard work, and as I got older the importance of managing people well. My experience came doing manual labor for my family’s construction company, working cover shifts in our gas stations, or delivering and working the warehouse of my great grandparents furniture store. Working in these environments helped me see how they kept good employees, and that hard work is worth it.Today, I get the chance to grow in my ability to manage people by guiding and teaching school groups that come to our facility, and to train myself in consciousness by working long hours while completing my masters degree. These experiences are shaping me into a much more empathetic leader, who is capable and willing to make decisions and consider the team. My skills in communication, both interpersonal and in large group settings have allowed me to thrive in building community and creating friendly and inviting work environments. I am an extremely quick learner, who can learn and apply new skills after minimal training time, which has allowed me to become an effective worker quickly after training or without much training, but also allows me to adapt and learn any new skills that may be necessary to improve and grow.
