About Javier Quintana
I am a Systems Architect at Autonomous Solutions Inc.(ASI), where I contribute to the design and integration of advanced robotics and autonomous vehicle systems. My work centers on building robust requirements architectures, aligning multidisciplinary engineering teams, and guiding complex programs through ASI’s Product Development Process—from concept through verification and deployment, with strong traceability from mission intent to system validation.Prior to transitioning into robotics and autonomy, I spent over two decades in aerospace and aviation, leading landing gear programs, structural modifications, aircraft interiors, and technical operations across commercial and defense environments. My experience includes senior technical and leadership roles at Collins Aerospace, Raytheon, and Southwest Airlines, where I worked at the intersection of engineering rigor, operational reality, and safety-critical systems. In parallel, I founded and led Nexxus Global Aviation LLC, a consulting venture supporting MRO projects, landing gear and interiors initiatives, parts brokerage, retrofit execution, and supplier strategy across global aviation networks. While my current professional focus is firmly on robotics and autonomy, I continue to selectively support aviation clients where deep domain expertise and trusted execution are critical.Across industries, my approach has remained consistent: guiding people and systems with clarity, applying aerospace-grade discipline to requirements, safety, and verification, and transferring lessons learned across domains to accelerate innovation without compromising reliability. At my core, I believe that great systems are built by great teams. My career has been dedicated to creating the frameworks, culture, and tools that enable people and technology to perform at their best—whether in the skies or across land-based, underwater, and planetary robotic systems. My leadership philosophy has been shaped by both executive education and hands-on systems leadership, particularly during periods of disruption and change—experiences that continue to inform how I lead, architect, and support complex programs today.
