Spearheaded (from start to finish) the development of backend microservice solutions to transfer terabytes of data events per second) from the Honey sub-company to PayPal’s domain. This project spanned across the entire Honey sub-company and its internal teams (eg. Marketing, Growth, Machine Learning, etc.) and required I work intimately with other teams so as to secure their data and prepare it for transfer- Led the development of a Quality Assurance system of CronJobs and Airflow jobs that would allow for accurate metrics of whether or not the data being transferred to PayPal\'s datalake loaded successfully. This allowed for faster health metrics that allowed the team to catch bugs and pivot towards solutions in a lucid manner- Used Golang, Node, Kubernetes, Docker, and CircleCI to develop the Google Cloud microservices that facilitate the transfer of Honey data to PayPal- Led the professional development of two other junior engineers. This included having regular one-on-one meetings, ensuring their emotional and professional needs are being met, and confirming that the expectations for their assignments were clear as they pertained to the data transfer effort.
