About Javier Rodriguez

Javier has over seven years experience from initially serving in the Information Technology field to currently specializing in e-Discovery and Digital Forensics. Having received his Master’s degree concentrated in Information Assurance, he was instructed in Computer Forensics, IT Audit and Network Security. The Computer Forensic courses trained him in Guidance Software’s EnCase, Access Data’s Forensic Toolkit and Blackbag’s Blacklight. While volunteering at the Orange County Probation Department, he participated in all phases of the digital forensic process including acquisition, analysis and reporting, as well as learning best practices for evidence handling and chain of custody. He utilized various forensic technologies to examine mobile devices including Cellebrite’s UFED system, Secure View, Oxygen Forensics and XRY Technologies. Currently, he has been working within the e-Discovery environment having been involved in all phases of the EDRM Model. He specializes in Forensic Data Collections of digital devices and utilizing popular e-Discovery platforms including Clearwell, Relativity and Discovery Radar. He is currently pursuing certifications, his most recent being Access Data’s ACE.
