I love life. I really do. I love people. I think they are the best thing that exist in the world. That’s why I decided to pursue a career in healthcare, because it works with people’s most precious gift: LIFE. I decided to be part of improving people’s lives, not as a doctor, not as a nurse, but as a biomedical engineer. To be honest, I’ve always been in love with life. Enthusiastic, passionate, easy-going, funny and always open to share a laugh or a good moment with my loved ones. I always try to leave a positive impact everywhere I go, and I love to inspire and motivate others to be the best version of themselves. You\'ll often find me playing football, cheering on Real Madrid or enjoying with friends over a cold beer and good food. And when I\'m not on the field or out exploring the city for new things to do, bars and restaurants; I\'m diving into new music, always looking for fresh beats to add to my playlist. Some years ago, I even got into DJing as a hobby and created some mixtapes dedicated to my wife. Professionally, I bring that same energy and enthusiasm to my work in healthcare. Whether it\'s defining the winning strategy in an important deal, presenting the benefits of the technology to customers or using my experience as product manager of medical systems, I\'m committed to making a positive impact. During my time in Philips, I\'ve been a proud ambassador and active participant in the company\'s life beyond our professional duties. I\'ve been the official buddy of the newcomers, a friend to those colleagues in need, the face of Philips at events, job fairs, hospitals, universities or whenever needed, even the captain and coach of the Philips football team in Madrid. I\'m all about creating a good and pleasant work environment, meaningful connections and fostering a sense of belonging wherever I go. Recently, my wife got offered a position here in Chicago and I followed her without a doubt. After a few sabbatical months, I found the opportunity to keep working on saving and sustaining lives as a Global Marketing Manager at Baxter. Third time in my life that I will be close to Infusion Systems, key on medication delivery that helps granting people a second chance in life.
