ABOUT JAVIER M.

I\'m Chief Operating Officer at Ellis Porter, where my job is to clear the path so our teams can do theirs: delivering a simpler, more positive immigration experience for individuals and employers navigating a system that\'s anything but simple. We\'re an immigration law firm that takes the name \"Porter\" seriously: we carry the load, ease the burden, and guide people through one of the most stressful processes they\'ll face. My work focuses on building the operating foundation. standardizing how we work, creating consistent knowledge and workflows, investing in digital capability, and managing culture so people can do their best work without burning out.​ I come from a family of immigrants, which shapes how I think about fairness, hard work, dignity, and doing what\'s right even when it\'s hard. I\'ve spent my career in advisory services, people analytics, org design, and transformation. first at PwC, then leading change at Berry Appleman & Leiden, and now at Ellis Porter.
