Job Title: Vehicle Dynamics Engineer at the Advanced Vehicle Dynamics (AVD) Center• Wide Track Testing Data Post-Processing covering vehicle’s Steady-State and Transient characteristics from experimental manoeuvers executed under specific boundary conditions• Virtual development of subsystem models by generating corresponding characteristic curves with a solid knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and Adams Car (Multibody Dynamics Simulation Software)• Merging of Vehicle Model Assembly within VI-CarRealTime (VI-grade) environment, where further offline simulations are carried on and results are generated for following post-processing verification before uploading the model into the simulator• Limited margin for tire model tuning on steady-state and transient parameters throughout the interpolation from data of similar tire types when experimental data is not available• Meetings with the customer to try to bring the virtual vehicle, either from an existing vehicle or a prototype under development, the closest to the KPIs target, i.e. through results from KnC, Steady-State and Transient analysis• Responsible for running, supervising and analysing data from simulator session, within different possible XiL applications, i.e. Model, Software, Hardware and Driver in the Loop• Vehicle simulations ran at Static and Dynamic platforms
