ABOUT JAVIER ALVAREZ

Francisco Javier Alvarez is an Industrial Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the Technology and Consulting industries. He has been with Vector ITC Group for the past 7 years, leading the international expansion of the company in US and LatAm (Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Colombia among others). Currently Francisco Javier is heading the development of Vector and Softtek in the EMEA region. Previously Francisco Javier was also CEO of Vector´s subsidiaries in US, Peru and Mexico and most of his career has been focused on industries such as Finance, Energy, Retail and Distribution and Logistics. Francisco Javier has been in charge of defining the internationalization strategy, developing a specific value proposition for the region, in alignment with the corporate strategy, and with a strong focus in building a powerful ecosystem with partners that have strengthen Vector´s proposition around business digitization, innovation and efficient management of technology in line with market trends such as Automation, Client and Data Centric, Cloud and As a Service Models among others. Prior to that Francisco J. has held several positions (such as Head of Business Consulting Division, Strategy Division, Head of Digital Transformation Program) in companies in the technology space such as Matchmind, Schneider Electric, Kewill Systems or Accenture. Francisco Javier is enthusiastic about opening new businesses, internationalization, establishing business relationships with clients and partners, working with teams of talented professionals and having an open mind to innovation and new technologies that can change the state of things.
