ABOUT JAVID SANGRA

An intuitive and proactive Senior Product Manager with 6 years of experience, also certified by the Scrum Alliance (CSPO + ACSPO). I currently own and oversee multiple Products, including two eCommerce platforms that drive Vision Direct’s 7 websites (Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Magento), and currently transitioning onto the HCL Commerce platform. I also manage a vast custom-built ERP product with a busy and fast-moving backlog regarding all aspects of Order Processing, Fulfilment, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Invoicing and Process Automation. This Product also includes PIM and CRM Portal applications, as well as internal mobile apps. Projects and features are built in-house for Vision Direct (Europe\'s leading online contact lens retailer), and the Essilor Luxottica Group (world\'s leading ophthalmic optics company) based on business requirements and OKR’s.In addition, I manage multiple integrations with 3rd party SaaS software services such as Scurri (carrier management platform) and SNAP (warehouse management system). Integrations are via multiple tools and methods including APIs, AWS services (SQS and SNS queues, lambda functions), file transfers, EDI and webhooks, so I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in designing, scoping, and delivering technical projects with multiple teams, both internally and externally.I am a very hands-on and curious Product Owner, able to understand technical detail and be involved in development discussions. This affords me the invaluable influence needed to marry up the “what’s” and “why’s” with the “how’s” and “what ifs” and be the successful bridge between development teams and senior stakeholders. I have also managed full life-cycle ERP implementations and the training and support aspects of two large scale implementations of Infor\'s M3 ERP system across Northern Europe, so I am well-versed in handling the pressures of business-critical projects and tight, evolving deadlines. My background also includes experience as a Software Consultant – evidencing strong external client management skills, a Videogame Journalist – evidencing stella written communication, evangelism skills and a creative mindset, and a Foreign Language Teacher – evidencing core care principles of developing others and learning through enjoyment.I am a very dedicated individual who works well in a team, has proven effective leadership skills and enjoys learning through new challenges.
