Spearheaded the construction project management at Siemens and WASCO fabrication yards for 13 substation modules valued at $120M. Executed the implementation of construction development tools (MCPlus) to manage thousands of inspection test reports (ITRs), hundreds of punch list items, and other construction-related documents such as factory/site acceptance test reports (F/SAT). Communicated with and led multiple equipment vendors (Siemens, Gutor, ABB, Yokogawa, Honeywell) and different vendor representatives visiting from several global locations. Completed inspection and commissioning of equipment in the fabrication before shipping the building to the site. Evaluated standards of different disciplines (electrical, instrumentation and control systems, safety) designs to deliver cost-effectiveness and operational safety requirements during fabrication yard construction. Instituted change management procedures to align material management (MATMAN), budget planning, and spending cost control. Delivered on schedule, within budget, and with minimal cost overruns. Designed and executed sail away preservation planning and implementation from Batam port to Kitimat site, including dehumidification of the interior of the building by adding ½ ton of desiccants. Coordinated the Marine Warranty Surveyor / Bio Security before loading out of each module on a high-transport vessel.
