ABOUT JATOVI MCDUFFIE
Jatovi McDuffie, who is a native of Durham, NC, has been the on-field announcer at the Durham BullsAthletic Park since 2004. He is also the current on-court host at Duke Women’s Basketball, on-field hostfor Major League Cricket, and in prior years has been an MC for the Carolina Hurricanes, the BullDurham Blues Festival, and the Fox 50 Family Fest as well as many other places.In 2017 he brought to fruition the award nominated DBAP Gaming Challenge. It was Durham\'s firstmajor dive into the world of esports. That push continues with building the Future Fest Connectgaming/tech convention as well as partnerships with the Body Armor StateGames creating the Gohon Kumite gaming tournament and the Town of Wake Forest creating Battle in the Forest gaming tournament. His hope is to use the power of gaming to getkids into STEAM programs and help to positively impact their future.
