Responsible for application uptime and deployment of code, configuration and property changes, to production and pre-production servers • Manage infrastructure components and iCloud services • Perform horizontal and vertical scaling of iCloud applications • Collaborate with developers to ensure improved service delivery and reliability • Continually evolve deployment methods and processes to effectively deliver products in various environments including Production, Staging, QA and Development. • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for third-tier escalations, working with engineering and other Ops teams to troubleshoot service issues and performing root cause analysis • Troubleshoot application issues during an event using Splunk, Hubble (internal) and coordinate with developers to fix any underlying code issues • Create and manage alerts for all running services to monitor availability, latency and overall system health • Use CI/CD pipeline to deploy new changes to applications • Utilize understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, SSL, TLS whenever needed • Collaborate within team to utilize Kubernetes for managing containerized applications • Work towards automation of repetitive tasks using Python, for improved efficiency
