ABOUT JASPER S. LEE
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in MA and FL, an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School, and a Staff Psychologist in the Behavioral Medicine Program of the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). I am an NIH-funded Principal Investigator. I am also a Research Fellow at The Brigham and Women\'s Hospital in the Department of Emergency Medicine. I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine, as well as a concentration in quantitative psychology from the University of Miami. I completed my clinical internship (equivalent of residency) at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School. My research focuses on better understanding the complex interrelationships of co-occurring psychosocial and structural epidemics that interact synergistically (i.e, syndemics) and their syndemic effects on infectious disease (HIV, TB, etc.) treatment and prevention outcomes both in the US and in resource-limited settings around the world (e.g, South Africa and Zimbabwe) via the use of innovative technological and statistical approaches to measurement and analysis. This research is funded by the NIH, and I have secured over $1M in NIH funding.
