ABOUT JASPER RICHARDSON
I’m currently a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Oxford Space Systems, serving as Project Engineer and Technical Lead on the design of innovative, low-mass, and stowage-efficient deployable antenna systems for spacecraft. My professional background includes experience at FMB Oxford working on synchrotron beamlines, and at Airbus as a spacecraft mechanisms engineer.I hold an MSc in Mechatronics from the University of Bath and a BEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey.Outside of engineering, I’m passionate about sport and dance. I represented both Bath and Surrey in tennis, was president and first team captain of the Surrey Tennis Club, and currently serve as the Gloucestershire Men’s Captain. I also compete in ballroom and Latin dance, having represented Oxford, Bath, and Surrey.
