Store Service and Events Manager - Uk Distribution & Fulfilment @Tesco

I am the central link between Distribution and Retail for our stores across the UK and NI. I am responsible for the Distribution Service Helpline, Store Service Policy, Store Returns process, Air Traffic ControI and all aspects of Distribution relating to new stores, closures and refreshes. I co-ordinate and represent Distribution in Channels NWT meetings for all events including Valentine\'s Day, Easter, Mother\'s Day, Father\'s Day, Festive Food To Order, Christmas, Hogmanay and Summer. I am primarily based at the Daventry Campus and Welwyn Garden City, however I regularly visit DC\'s and stores. Internally I work with various departments & stakeholders. This includes the Distribution and Fulfilment Director, Distribution Stream Director\'s, Distribution Centre Manager\'s and their teams, Network Planning and Capability, Fleet / MHE Engineering and Management, Primary, Project Manager\'s, Regional Transport Manager\'s, Central Transport Operations, Shrink and Security Business Partner\'s, Store Response, Export, Ops Dev, Business Resilience, Distribution Communications and Festive Food To Order. I also regularly liase with Store Director, Area Manager, Personnel Manager Group, Regional Operational Risk Manager, Store Manager. I facilitate the Distribution response in Business Resilience meetings and Teams calls, supporting events including Whaley Bridge, Brexit and COVID-19. Through my experience of various roles in the business I am able to contribute ideas that have been adopted. I represent the Distribution function across all seasonal events, creating and developing milestone plans, communication packs and supporting information. I successfully delivered the Distribution launch of My Tesco / News and Views, with our function leading on colleague engagement post launch. This also enabled be to work closely with a number of senior managers and leaders from across Group Communications and IT.
