ABOUT JASON SCOLLIN

Has 20+ years of experience as an environmental, safety and health professional in many facets of this profession, including construction, insurance, and manufacturing. Positions have included Safety Director, Area EHS Manager, Project EHS Manager, Senior Loss Control Consultant, Safety Supervisor, EHS Field Engineer, and Safety Consultant. These positions have given me the opportunity to work in many locations and industrial facilities throughout the United States with companies such as Southern Company, AEP, PG & E, Tenaska, Dominion, Xcel Energy, LADWP, PSE & G, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Kansas City Power and Light (KCP & L), Ford, GM, Toyota, Owens Corning, Knauff, and Johns Manville.Responsibilities have included interacting with executive and senior level management, managing multiple safety professionals at multiple sites across North America, pro-active safety program development & implementation, training, environmental, SPCC, hazardous materials, safety and health compliance, managing direct and indirect staff, safety staffing and recruitment, and aggressive workers compensation case management. The responsibilities have provided a broad and thorough knowledge or OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, ANSI, NFPA, EPA, and other regulatory and consensus standards, as well as development of leadership and coaching skills.All experience has been with both union and non-union workforces, as well as dealing with all levels of management from field/front-line supervisors to Executive Officers of multi-billion-dollar companies. Due to the various work environments and personnel, I have developed excellent oral and written communication skills.
